“WAHOO" The Patrols of America's Most Famous WWII Submarine - By Rear Admiral Richard H. O'Kane, USN (Ret.). Before taking command of the submarine USS Tang (SS-306), Lieutenant O’Kane was the executive officer on USS Wahoo (SS-238). With O’Kane at his side, Commander Dudley ‘Mush’ Morton set the pace in the Pacific submarine force during World War II. This book makes for excellent reading along side Forest J. Sterling’s "Wake of the Wahoo." Wahoo was lost with all-hands in October 1943, after O’Kane was transferred to Tang. A Medal Of Honor recipient, O'Kane also wrote "Clear The Bridge!" 1989 Paperback edition now out-of-print. 337 pages, 11 maps, countless illustrations and an index but no photos. Includes a Wahoo crew roster.
Sorry, sold out. ----
